Hills Around Port Germein

After heading into Port Pirie to buy a few supplies we ventured out into the rich farming areas of Gladstone, Laura and Stone Hut. We stopped at an olive grove for lunch then headed down the windy road through Port Germein Gorge and past the remains of the village of Bangor which was surveyed in 1853 We stopped to have a look at the remains of the Bangor Hotel.
